With over 15 years jewellery-making experience Thomas William Jewellery is the vision of Tom Murphy, an ambitious master goldsmith based in Wokingham, Berkshire. The shop offers individually selected products from other designers as well as unique handcrafted pieces created on-site at the workshop, which express the passion and creativity of Tom himself. 
Thomas William Jewellery offers a service of bespoke jewellery design specialising in one-off pieces, engagement rings and wedding bands produced in Silver, Gold, Platinum and Palladium tailor made for you.
We work in all precious metals and offer a full range of jewellers services including repairs and alterations, recycling, valuations, engagement rings, wedding rings, ring sizing, cleaning and zero-pressure design consultations.

Thomas William Jewellery started with our founder and master goldsmith Tom, back in 2015. As the business grew Tom realised he needed to bring another expert on board, and reached out to Amanda, who's years of experience and indepth knowledge of all things gems, jewellery and design provided the perfect compliment to send the business to the next level.

Thomas William Jewellery's founder and master goldsmith, the business began in Tom's spare bedroom back in 2015 after more than 12 years honing his trade, and has been on an upward trajectory ever since!
​
Driven by a desire to take the jewellery industry back to its craft-centred roots and give customers a more personal, less sales-heavy experience than has become the norm on our high streets, Tom threw himself into his work and managed to build himself a word-of-mouth reputation as one of the best is his trade, opening his first shop in 2017, expanding to a larger space just one year later.

For Tom the quality of his work is absolutely key and he never rests until he gets each bespoke piece perfect.

With a business that started as a one-man-band, Tom soon realised even he had limited and knew he needed to bring another expert on board if he was ever to grow... or get home before midnight! So in 2019 he welcomed Amanda into the fold, who stepped into "front of house", allowing Tom more time on his bench doing what he does best - making jewellery.

Amanda joined Thomas William Jewellery in 2019 as an expert Gemologist and registered professional valuations specialist. A skilled designer, you'll also meet Amanda in your consultaions and design appointments for bespoke commissions.

Amanda's passion for her work evolved from her childhood facination with her mothers jewellery box, which sparked a curiousity with gems and jewellery, and she has spend years studying and working in the trade to hone her skillset and gain a raft of trade qualifications

Having worked in the independent jewellery trade since 2006, Amanda's highlight so far has been joining the TWJ team where she is able to combine her professional skills and passion with working closely with our lovely customers to create unique, master-crafted fine jewellery.
